SUPPORT FINNISH ART – NOW AND IN THE FUTURE

Work: Sari Soininen

The Finnish Art Society supports the art of the future and now invites those who wish to leave a lasting mark on Finnish art history. The 180-year-old society aims to support Finnish art and its future creators for centuries to come. Art makes an impact only through the creation of new art – and through making that possible.

EXPLORE OUR WORK

Work: Frans Nybacka

The 180-year-old Finnish Art Society has been a cornerstone in building the Finnish art scene. We currently support artists with approximately €500,000 annually through grants, awards, and exhibition subsidies.

We act as an expert and reliable patron of the visual arts. Our decision-making is transparent and grounded in established practices. Our endowment is managed responsibly in collaboration with wealth management experts, and its performance is actively monitored.

We keep administrative costs low to ensure funds are directed toward supporting the arts. Decisions regarding grants and awards are made by juries composed of distinguished experts. We support artists based on the quality of their work.

Through a major gift, it is possible to become part of Finnish art history—for example, through a named fund or award. A single donation can support art annually—in practice, indefinitely.
